Biography

Comedian and actor Brian James “B Dawg” Dunkleman was born September 25, 1972 in Ellicottville, New York.  He is the tenth child of Les and Jane Dunkleman.  He started performing stand-up comedy in 1992 and won the Buffalo’s Funniest New Comedian contest.  Shortly after, he went to Aspen and performed at the US Comedy Arts Festival organized by HBO.

Soon enough, Brian invaded the television scene.  He was a guest on shows Very Funny at Laugh Factory, Late Friday and Talk Show with Spike Feresten to name a few.

Brian Dunkleman appeared on Ghost Whisperer , NYPD Blue, The Hughleys, That 70’s Show and Friends .  His other TV credits include acting on G vs E, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Darma & Greg and Two Guys and a Girl.

He also lent his voice for characters Buck Owens on Family Guy and Sanford on 3 South.  He did voice-overs for shows The Proud Family and American Idol Rewind.  Comedy Central created a version of him on the season finale of Drawn Together .

Brian hosted Miss Match and co-hosted the first season of FOX’s American Idol alongside Ryan Seacrest .  He is also a regular host of Fremantle Media’s Family Feud Live in Las Vegas and in Atlantic City.

Brian Dunkleman made his big screen debut in the independent film Comedy Hell, which also starred Eric Roberts.

Brian Dunkleman is one of the new participants on VH1’s reality TV series Celebrity Fit Club : Boot Camp.  The show divides the eight contestants into two groups and the teams are given several physical challenges every week.  Cast members are also weighed regularly to see if they achieved their target goal weights.  A team composed of a nutritionist, a psychologist and a physical trainer oversees the participants.
