Born on September 18, 1977 in New York City, New York, Barrett Foa is an actor best known for his role as Eric Beal on the series NCIS: Los Angeles. Prior to acting on screen, though, he attended several schools, including The Dalton School, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, The University of Michigan and the Interlochen Arts Camp.

Foa landed a starring role as Jesus in Stephen Schwartz’s off-Broadway revival of Godspell, his first major gig. He then played Matt in The Fantasticks, and later Much Ado About Nothing, Mamma Mia! and Cupid and Psyche. He later became understudy to the roles of Princeton/Rod in Broadway’s Avenue Q. In 2009, he was cast as Eric Beal, a technical operator, on the NCIS spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles. He was upgraded to series regular the following year.
