As
The Real World: Hollywood wraps up the season, MTV will be cooking up a drama-packed marathon that will lead to the suspenseful finale of the 20th season of the network's popular reality series on Wednesday, July 9.
Adding some edgy commentaries to
The Real World marathon, which begins on Friday, July 4 from 11am to 6pm ET/PT, is none other than
Coral Smith, who is known for her stint on
The Real World: Back to New York and for her appearances on various spin-off shows like
Real World/Road Rules Challenge and
The Gauntlet III.
Aside from the Coral, who is arguably the most notorious
Real World housemate, the six-episode marathon will also feature five of her friends, including
Paula Meronek (
Key West),
Brooke LaBarbera (
Denver),
Frank Roessler (
Las Vegas), Wes Bergmann (
Austin) and
Katie Doyle (
Road Rules Quest), as they provide viewers with some catty commentaries and an exclusive sneak-peek at what it's really like to be a
Real World housemate.
After the seven remaining roommates on
The Real World: Hollywood perform their final show together at the iO West and bid farewell to fame-hunting in Hollywood, the rollercoaster season will wrap up with the first-ever live reunion on Saturday, July 12. For the first time in
The Real World history, all nine roommates return one last time in an exclusive show where drama and confrontations are bound to unfold, uncut and unedited. There's no telling what these roommates are likely to do as they meet again in a face-to-face showdown.
The longest running reality series in history,
The Real World was created for MTV by Jon Murray and Mary-Ellis Bunim of Bunim-Murray Productions. Jon Murray and Jim Johnston serve as executive producers of
The Real World: Hollywood with Jacquelyn French.
Meanwhile, MTV has already announced Brooklyn will be the location for the 21st season of
The Real World.
