On last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Barney’s dinner party ended after a shouting match led her to physically remove Alexis Bellino from the dinner table and from the party. Tamra opened up on Watch What Happens Live after the show aired to talk about being a “mean girl” and dealing with some of her anger issues.

She started off by saying that, despite what it may have seemed like, she did not specifically allow Vicki to bring Alexis to her party just so she could make a scene and kick her out.

“Vicki and I were trying to rekindle our friendship, and you heard me on the phone. She said, ‘Can I bring Alexis?’ And my first response was, ‘Are you kidding me?'” Tamra said. “I don’t feel that I treated her poorly that night. I had to be honest with myself and with her, and the last time I saw her or heard from her, she wanted to sue me. So then she shows up to my party. So when I said, ‘I have to ask you, why are you here?’ I was just being true to myself.”

When a caller accused Tamra of being a mean girl, Tamra said just because she stands up for herself doesn’t make her a bully.

“I don’t play the victim. Gretchen was never a target to me. We had some issues and we worked them out,” Tamra said when the caller accused her of switching from being mean to Gretchen to being mean to Alexis on the show. “I’m on a reality show and I’m paid to speak my mind.”

She did, however, agree with her WWHL co-star Dr. Venus Nicolino, who said she thinks that Tamra has “some issues with negotiating assertiveness and aggression.” Tamra said she has been dealing with her anger for most of her life.

Despite everything that went down with Alexis in Costa Rica and at the dinner party, Tamra says that there is a possibility for the two to put it all behind them and be friends again.

“I didn’t have a problem with Alexis being there. I wanted to be friends with her at the time. I felt bad after the reunion show. I wanted things to be good. I don’t want her to be singled out. I don’t want her to hurt. I don’t want her to be on medication,” Tamra said. “There’s definitely some movement in our friendship. I have this tough exterior and there’s a reason why I have it, but I also have a soft spot in my heart.”
