The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta hasn’t been officially confirmed for season 9 but there have already been reports about who’s likely to return to the Bravo series.

NeNe Leakes, who was a series regular in the first seven seasons and who appeared later in season 8, could possibly return. “After making appearances this season, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she came back in some capacity. That door is definitely still open,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

RHOA costar Cynthia Bailey also admitted that Leakes is keeping her options open.

“I don’t know,” she said. “I think she’s open [to it]. She has a lot of things coming her way as well, but I think there’s something about her coming in and out, at least, that’s nice.”

If Leakes joins the new season, perhaps her frenemy can also make a comeback now that Kim Fields already announced that she’s leaving the Bravo series. There have been speculations that Kim Zolciak, who was part of RHOA from seasons one to five, might return and the cast’s reaction to that possibility makes Zolciak’s return more likely.

“I live for Kim,” Kenya Moore said when  Andy Cohen brought it up on the reunion special for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “Every now and then we’ll text each other and she’s always funny and just crazy. She just has her own energy. I just really like her.”

Aside from Moore, Porsha Williams also welcomed the idea.

Meanwhile, Zolciak herself has hinted on social media that she’s considering her return on RHOA.

On the other hand, Zolciak might have too much on her plate. Aside from  focusing on family, including her six children, she’s also filming her own spin-off series Don’t Be Tardy, which has recently been renewed for season 5.
