From being seen arm in arm with a Playboy model to being spotted hanging out with a pop-punk rocker, Brody Jenner seems to be proving how much he appreciates women.  The star of MTV’s The Hills is reportedly dating musician Avril Lavigne, if we’re to believe the many, suspicious words of so-called insiders.

According to E! Online, several eyewitnesses have revealed that the two personalities are slowly getting romantically involved.  They’ve been keeping it quiet from the rest of us poor saps, but apparently things have been aflame between them over the last few weeks.

“They’re hooking up, but they’re keeping it low-key,” an insider announced.  So much for privacy, even though they probably knew something like this would happen.  Those secret romances hardly work out when it comes to celebrities.

Even so, the report goes on to say that the 26-year-old Hills star and the singer have never even been photographed in public together.  They were, however, seen having dinner at Koi last February 4.  They left together in the same car, heading straight to the club known as Voyeur.

Apparently, that wasn’t their only rendezvous.  Last Thursday, Brody and Lavigne were back at the venue.  They returned to Voyeur and went partying throughout the night.

“You can tell they’re into each other and both like to have a good time,” a different source exclaimed.  “They’re cute together.”

As usual, there hasn’t been any confirmation from both parties.  Maybe they’d like to keep things to themselves for now since they’d just split off with previous romances last year.

In December, Brody Jenner broke things off with fellow The Hills star and Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole.  He had also been involved with reality TV celebrity Kristin Cavallari, but that didn’t really push through.

Meanwhile, musician Avril Lavigne filed for a divorce from Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley in October.  While they do remain good friends, it looks like this singer is ready to move on.  It’s just a bit odd seeing her with a guy from The Hills, and vice versa, but who’s to stop them?
