, the series that focuses on the lives of sex icon Hugh Hefner
's three girlfriends inside the Playboy Mansion, will return for its fourth season tonight at 10pm.
Join the cast as they celebrate Independence Day at the mansion in the new season opener called “Patriot Dames.”
Tonight's episode finds the cast in a patriotic frame of mind as they celebrate the Fourth of July. And since this is Hugh Hefner's world, fans can always expect something out of the ordinary to happen.
Throughout the episode, Hefner's pampered playmates will attempt to capture viewers' interest with their quirky new adventures and sensual escapades, while they also entertain the Marines and welcome Bridget Marquardt's brother home from Iraq.
As a highlight of every Fourth of July bash, the extravagant fireworks display is always present. But this year, the festivity becomes extra special since there's a new kid in town. After all the pleasurable activities, we hear Hugh Hefner say "God bless America" towards the end, and look forward to more episodes that gives viewers a taste of Hugh Hefner's fantasy.
This is just one out of the 12 new episodes featured in the fourth season of The Girls Next Door
. Fans can also look forward to more adventures as Hefner and the girls visit Monaco, meet royalty, and travel to Jamaica and Alaska where Holly Madison lived as a child.
So far, The Girls Next Door
has been a huge success for the network, progressively boosting its ratings since it premiered in August 2005. Following its highly rated debut, the second season premiere in July 2006 increased even attracted more viewers, setting a 3-year high for the network. But among all the seasons yet, the third season was considered as the most successful given that it drew 2.17 million viewers compared to its precedent season of 1.6 million, which is the second highest season premiere in the network's 16-year history.
