The big winner of the night was the highest-rated comedy (and second highest non-sports show) of the season, The Big Bang Theory. Stars Simon Helberg and Kaley Cuoco each took home a prize for their supporting roles, and the show as a whole won Best Comedy Series.

Other big winners include Breaking Bad, American Horror Story: Asylum and the recent HBO movie about Liberace, Behind the Candelabra, with two awards each. Among the networks, HBO came out on top, receiving five awards for Game of Thrones, The Newsroom, Veep and Candelabra.

Six shows were also recognized as the “Most Exciting New Series,” including this summer’s Stephen King drama Under the Dome and two that are premiering in the fall, The Michael J. Fox Show and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the spin-off of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers.
