This past week on The Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock and her men spent the weekend in Atlantic City and it was a whirlwind of dates. The audience watched as things heated up with James Case and fizzled with Brad McKinzie. Also, the hilarious Mr. America competition hosted by Des was the highlight of episode 4, that, and seeing the cutest couple alive, Manny and Jan, celebrate their 38th wedding anniversary.

Speedos, baby oil, push ups oh my! In a deleted scene from this week’s episode, the men prepare for the bathing suit portion of the Mr. America competition and the tropical prints really emphasize their…personalities! In all seriousness, the guys were such good sports. They really embraced the event and just had fun with it. Des has a great sense of humor and isn’t afraid to make fun of herself, so to see her bachelors having such a good time must have been exciting for her. Although Kasey Stewart was crowned Mr. America, Brooks Forester stole the show with is humor. This guy is hilarious and one that is sure to be in the running for Desiree’s heart, which is the ultimate prize!

Best Quotes from The Bachelorette Week 4>>

In another deleted scene from episode 4, Drew Kenney does a trust exercise with Des. The two hold hands with their eyes closed so they can be themselves and not let their nerves do the talking. Drew reveals to Desiree that he is the youngest of his siblings, but starting at a very young age, he helped to take care of his handicapped sister. It was probably this experience that makes Drew such a genuine and down-to-earth guy. He and Des share a first kiss that is pretty perfect. There was just the right amount of hesitation on Drew’s part. He didn’t pull a Bryden and torture us with awkwardness! Hopefully, Drew continues to open up to Des and their relationship grows, because he seems very deserving.

The Bachelorette Week 5 Photos: Heating Up in the German Alps>>

It must be pretty unbearable to watch the girl you are interested in date a bevvy of other men. In yet another deleted scene from this week’s episode, Zak Waddell gets creative on how to quiet his racing mind and cure his cabin fever. Zak decides to go ring shopping for Des while she is on her date with James. Although sweet, this Texas hunk needs to pump the breaks. This is final four behavior! On the upside, this kid that gave one of the worst first impressions by offering his abs to Desiree after stepping out of the limo, keeps surprising her and the audience with his sincerity. In fact, he was one of the few guys that gave a serious performance during the talent portion of the Mr. America competition. He keeps creating memories for Des during this journey in hopes that they will be shared them, together in the end! Not only has he chilled out on the abs display, but also he appears to be wearing less hair gel, both of which work in his favor.

Things are only going to get more intense from here as feelings get more invested, so be sure to watch The Bachelorette on Monday at 8pm on ABC.
