Now that The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love is officially over, ABC takes viewers behind the closed doors of the Bachelor/Bachelorette mansion for the lowdown on what really goes on behind the network's most popular reality dating franchise.

Deborah Roberts and Chris Connelly serve as anchors for the two-hour special 20/20 edition entitled Inside The Bachelor: The Stories Behind the Rose, along with special correspondent, Melissa Rycroft, a former contestant on The Bachelor 13.

Tonight's special episode explores the Bachelor/Bachelorette production process, from the casting sessions to never-before-seen audition tapes. It also serves as a mini reunion for previous Bachelor and Bachelorette participants, including Meredith Phillips, Charlie O'Connell, Andrew Firestone, Dr. Travis Stork and the most successful Bachelorette couple so far, Ryan and Trista Sutter, just to name a few.

But the highlight of the night is when 20/20 revisits some of the most shocking moments in Bachelor history. Rycroft, who got engaged to Jason Mesnick during the Bachelor finale only to be dumped in the After the Final Rose special for runner-up Molly Malaney, talks about her heartbreaking experience and her thriving post-Bachelor TV career. Moreover, Brad Womack, the controversial season 11 love searcher who rejected both final women in the finale, comes face-to-face with one of the finale women during his season, DeAnna Pappas, star of The Bachelorette season 4.

Of course, the real stories behind the rose won't be complete without Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss, executive producer Martin Hilton, and host Chris Harrison, who all have their own tales to share.
