Valentine’s Day can be a fun and romantic holiday if you’re part of a couple. It’s a day to celebrate loving relationships with a little extra romance. So many TV shows cover the romantic stories you want to see, but what about the single people? If you’re spending Valentine’s Day alone this year, you might want to stay distracted by binging some TV episodes that have nothing to do with love. Instead of focusing on the lack of romance in your life, keep your mind occupied with some funny, scary and gross episodes on TV. From Supernatural to Stranger Things, here are six episodes to take your mind off being single on the most romantic day of the year.

Supernatural: Our 10 Favorite GIFs of Dean in Honor of His Birthday>>>

1. “Changing Channels,” Supernatural

This is the perfect episode of Supernatural to distract you from your personal life. In it, Sam and Dean literally escape from their own lives into TV lives. They enter the worlds of stereotypical TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, CSI and more. Watching these two characters spoof all these dramas and poke fun at the corniness of TV love will have you rolling on the floor.

2. “Chapter Eight: The Upside Down,” Stranger Things

This Stranger Things episode will blow your mind so hard with the paranormal you won’t have time to think of anything else. It’s the finale episode of the season and probably one of the greatest things you’ll ever see. Eleven and the guys finally track down the Demogorgon and have an epic showdown with the group that was running experiments on her. This episode is like the perfect 80s sci-fi movie and will leave you theorizing what everything means and how the show can move forward. Okay, there’s a kiss scene in it, but it’s only for a split second. Thankfully, you can fast-forward through it.

3. “Piggy Piggy,” American Horror Story

Why be in love when you can get the life scared out of you instead? This is one of the scariest episodes of American Horror Story ever, maybe even of any show. The whole half-human/half-pig story is terrifying enough, but it doesn’t stop there. You can also except a bloody massacre and horrifying suicide. This episode will leave you emotionally drained.

4. “The 200th in the 10th,” Bones

Bones is always a great escape. Its 200th episode takes that even a step further by traveling back in time. In 1950s Hollywood, Brennan is a detective in the LAPD trying to make a name for herself in a man’s world. Meanwhile, Booth is a low-level jewel thief who gets framed for murder. This is just a really fun episode overall, and one you really don’t need to have seen the whole show to enjoy.

5. “Finale,” Master of None

This episode of Master of None is a masterpiece. Just a forewarning, it actually is about a relationship at first, but what’s amazing about it is how you realize by the end that it isn’t. Aziz Ansari offers all single people the chance to stay that way and be happy about it in this episode. He lets us feel that it’s okay not to know what you want and you should, by all means, discover yourself outside of a relationship.

6. “Heartland,” NCIS

While it can be easy to veg out with a procedural drama, this NCIS episode will keep you on the edge of your seat. Everything from the writing to each actor’s performance is brilliant. A case puts Gibbs in touch with his estranged father whom he has gone years without speaking to. Throughout the episode, we learn so much about how Gibbs got to be the way he is. It gets dark at times, but the episode also has a lot of light moments that warm your heart. This episode is sure to make you want to fix or keep your relationship with your parents.
