It was impossible not to wonder when Cora presented her daughter, the future queen, Regina, to the audience if Rumple was the father. I speculated about that in "The Miller's Daughter" review
. It would be a juicy twist if it was true. Rumple would be Henry's grandfather and adopted grandfather.
interviewed Executive Producer Eddy Kitsis and he provided a definitive answer to this question. No, Regina is not Rumple's biological daughter. Kitsis said,"He's definitely not her father, but he has been a father-figure to her in a most corruptible way."
Well, there you have it. Speculation time is over. Are you happy that she's not his daughter? At first, I was disappointed, but then I was relieved. And, given that Cora broke Rumple's heart and got out of their deal, it makes his mentoring of Regina in magic even more deliciously evil.
Now, that Cora is dead, Regina's vendetta against Mary Margaret is heightened. And, the sweet Mary Margaret has to deal with her decision to give the cursed heart to Regina.
In Sunday's "Welcome to Storybrooke," a beloved character returns! Sheriff Graham! No, he's not alive again. Sorry. Instead of flashing back to Fairy Tale Land That Was, the episode flashes back to Storybrooke before the curse was broken.Sheriff Graham and Regina deal with a father and son that showed up in Storybrooke.
