It’s T minus two weeks before NCIS wraps up season 7, and it’s going to be an explosive finale, we’ve been promised. We already know that Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is headed south of the border to Mexico to “face his demons.”

We’re told that NCIS fans ought to watch out for bits and pieces related to the finale that will be obvious before May 25. Read on to find out!

For starters, Brian Dietzen, who plays Palmer, says his new onscreen flame might be staying put. “The writers seem to like her because she’s mentioned several times over the course of the season,” he says.

Pauley Perrette for her part says a lot of Abby-centric stuff are coming up, especially in May.

Did the Tiva in Paris episode suggest that something happened between Tony and Ziva? NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan dished: “I’ll let the ‘Jetlag’ episode answer that, because I think it does. I don’t want to be more specific than that. People should watch that episode and read between the lines.”
As NCIS returns for the remainder of season 7 next year, we can be assured of at least one thing: the team will be complete, and then some. In fact, it was reported by TV Guide that Tiva will have an overseas trip soon. Let’s just hope they stay very far from Somalia.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the upcoming overseas trip for Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) won’t happen in any odd place but the City of Love – Paris! Not only that, the two will have to share a room together because of some error in hotel reservation. Trite? Or romantic? Gibbs (Mark Harmon) can probably answer that.

Remeber that executive producer Shane Brennan previously said that the two’s relationship “will evolve rapidly” over the first three episodes of the season. Now that didn’t really go in the direction we were hoping, so the Tiva shippers are hoping this Paris trip will help.

On the first episode of NCIS season 7, meanwhile, a navy pilot’s bizarre murder has the team up against a hard-nosed attorney who, wouldn’t you know, has an ax to grind with Gibbs. 24’s Rena Sofer was cast in this role. She’ll play Attorney Margaret Allison Hart.
