Now that Desmond is back on the Island, Lost
has a lot of
questions to answer, and next week could be when a lot of them are
finally answered. Desmond-centric episodes are usually heavily based on
time travel and the scientific phenomena of the Island, and "Happily
Ever After" should be no exception.

You can easily imagine that the guest cast will include Alan Dale as Charles Widmore and Sheila Kelley as his geophysicist Zoe, but who else is coming back to Lost
? The official ABC press release provides the guest cast list, and it's full of very familiar names and faces. The episode is also written by show masterminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, which means it should be very integral to Lost
's overall mythology.SPOILER WARNING: This article contains details about returning Lost cast members.
Here are some of the big names you'll see again in "Happily Ever After."Dominic Monaghan as Charlie
Desmond's connections to him run deep, from meeting him on the streets of London to trying to save his life to naming his son after the dead rock star. What is Desmond's connection to Charlie in the altverse?Sonya Walger as Penny
A Desmond episode without Penny would be like Easter without marshmallow peeps. Is their love strong enough to live through dimensions?Jeremy Davies as Daniel Faraday
This is easily who I'm most excited to see again. If anyone can explain the alternate universe, it's Daniel, and since Desmond is his Constant, it makes sense that they could be together in the altverse as well.Fionnula Flanagan as Eloise Hawking
She warned Desmond that the Island wasn't finished with him, and she was right. Does this master of time also have the ability to see into alternate universes?Fisher Stevens as George Minkowski
Fresh off his Oscar win for his documentary The Cove
, what role does Minkowski possibly have in the altverse?Grisel Toledo as Nurse Tyra
You may not recognize, but Toledo appeared in the original timeline as Nurse Susie, taking care of Hurley at Santa Rosa. It's unclear why ABC credits her under a different name.Steve Boatright as Goon #1
Boatright played the man in Widmore's submarine manning the periscope at the end of "Dr. Linus." Since he's credited as a goon, maybe this means he'll make an altverse appearance also working for Widmore.Lost
airs Tuesday at 9pm on ABC.(Image courtesy of ABC)
