Grey's Anatomy

You know you're a bona fide Hollywood actor when you get involved in a relationship that gets everybody talking.  Just ask Denise Richards, George Clooney, or Anne Heche.  Being the topic of tabloid fodder may not be every star's dream but it does get you coverage in every major magazine and entertainment news program.  The latest to raise a few eyebrows is Grey's Anatomy's T.R. Knight, who is 35 years old.  He has a fairly new boyfriend (the pair have been dating about six months) and is happy and in love.  The only issue?  His boyfriend is a teenager.

Knight has been dating student Mark Cornelson since February. He’s aware that the age difference is an issue to everyone – except them. "It's bound to raise some eyebrows," Knight told Extra last week and added, "but we love each other." He got personal with the news program, saying that he was surprised Cornelson as even interested in him. He says of his beau, “He’s an amazing guy. I love being around him. I love what we have."

With the recent legalization of gay marriage in California, several celebrities have jumped on the marriage bandwagon from Ellen DeGeneres to George Takei. For T.R. Knight, though, it’s still a bit early. "We've only known each other for six months, so I think it's a little soon to consider marriage,” he admitted. "I don't think you date anyone that you don't see a future with." He went on to say that he loved the idea of children and hoped to adopt some day.

In 2006, T.R. Knight openly admitted he was gay in an interview with People magazine. He came clean after being outed, in a way, by former co-star Isaiah Washington. Knight also spoke publicly about his personal life to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that year. He has previously been romantically linked with Brothers and Sisters star, Luke MacFarlane.
