'Dancing with the Stars' Week 5: Elimination Predictions

Ah, the '80s! However did one decade bring out both the best and worst -- often simultaneously -- in our society? Likewise, we got some of the best and worst performances of the season on Dancing with the Stars when the show took the '80s as its theme.

Which dancers embraced the decade of dancing, thus enabling them to move on to the future? Which wiped out and will have to rely on voters to carry them through? We will find out in tonight's Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show. But, until then, it's time for predictions!

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Most Likely to Go
Carson Kressley (score = 19)
I'm not sure if WHAM!, psychedelic-Easter-egg costumes or even a cartwheel could be enough to save Carson from his rather awful dance. On the other hand, no one brings more fun to the ballroom. No one.

Nancy Grace (score = 22)
The judges may have scored this dance on the low side, but will viewers disagree enough to carry Nancy into week 6? Although it was a not-bad rumba, that may not be good enough.

Hope Solo (score = 24)
Yes, she got a totally respectable score, but that might not be enough to save Hope. Her tango was not thrilling, the judges kept things negative, and it was the first dance of the night. Hope might pull through, but she should be worried.

Most Deserving of Elimination
Carson Kressley
It pains me to say this, because I love watching him perform, but it's probably time for Carson Kressley to be eliminated. He's not a great dancer, and this week showed it. But I would be super happy to be wrong about this one!

Should Be Worried
Chaz Bono (score = 21)
Whether you think Chaz deserved his score or not, there was definite improvement there. Add in Chaz's obviously dedicated fan base, and he's likely to stick around in a week where he didn't have the lowest score.

Ricki Lake (score = 24)
After last week's elimination, when Chynna Phillips got sent home for her first stumble, this usual front-runner should be quaking in her boots. There was little wrong with Ricki's dance (other than the ill-advised Roger Rabbit), but it didn't live up to her own high standards. Probably, she will pull through. But it's not certain.

David Arquette (score = 25)
It was a great performance, and David received his highest score. But we need to keep in mind that this is a man who only narrowly missed elimination a couple of weeks ago. His voter fan base might not be too strong -- a dangerous thing in a close competition.

Probably Safe... For Now...
Rob Kardashian (score = 25)
What do you get when you combine the Kardashian name with the best reviews and scores Rob has ever received? My guess is you get an almost-certain ticket to week 6 of Dancing with the Stars.

J.R. Martinez (score = 28)
This was easily the best dance of the night. It was danced by a man who has been the only consistently excellent competitor in Dancing with the Stars season 13. J.R.'s samba got the highest scores and sunniest praise of the night. Plus, how can you not love the man? J.R. is safe for now.
