Series star Matthew Gray Gubler has once again taken a turn behind the camera, and like almost all of the other episodes he has directed, this week's Criminal Minds looks like it's going to be another creepy one. If you're not so sure, just take a look at the promo!

In this week's episode, "Blood Relations," the BAU is called in when two murder victims are found in a backwoods community in West Virginia. The team discovers that there's a long-simmering feud between the two families, but which side is responsible for the deaths? The guest stars include Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Bell and Ronnie Gene Blevins as members of the two families, the Howards and the Lees.

The promo is pretty much something right out of a horror movie, and with the guest cast and director, I'm not surprised. Here's what you need to know: 40 years ago in the woods, the legend of the Mountain Man was born, and this is one horror story you really wish wasn't real.

"I'm going to decide whether you live or die," the UnSub tells a woman, and considering he's holding barbed wire and what we see of it next, well, I'm not counting on her survival chances being too high. Then again, she might have it better than one of his other victims, whom he chains to a car before...well, just watch.

In this longer clip, Rossi and Morgan check out two victims' bodies in the morgue, and while there's a pretty straightforward cause of death ("Thwack and whack," as Rossi puts it), there's more to these victims than meets the eye. Morgan notes chemical burns on both bodies which suggest they were cooking meth, but that's not all these two boys were up to, considering "they were trying to make each other's lives miserable." Oh, the complicated lives of feuding families and drug dealers.

Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS.
