In case you haven’t heard, FOX has already ordered many of its current series back to production and has announced air dates for spring.  Fans will be pleased to know that Bones is among those series slated to return with all-new episodes beginning on Monday, April 14. You can catch spoilers for the 10th, 11th and 12th episode of season 3 in previous articles. Meanwhile, here’s what’s in store for the 13th episode of Bones called “The Player Under Pressure.”

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

“The Player Under Pressure,” which is expected to air sometime in May, is reported to be the controversial episode originally set to air last April 18 but has been pulled out from season 2 due to the Virginia Tech events that occurred earlier in the same week.

This installment finds the team working to identify bones from a college athlete who suffered a lot of fractures.  After the deceased has been identified, Booth and Brennan talk with his sister, African-American Kamaria Manning, and George Francis, who acted as a sort of advisor for the deceased.

As they dig deeper, Booth and Brennan find out that Francis had a fight with the dead man a week ago.  The team’s investigation also has them question people about a possible drug usage by the athlete.

Meanwhile, Angela and Hodgins, whose unengaged scenes have been reworked for continuity reasons, have an important talk while studying a cockroach as Zack is overwhelmed by having to reconstruct the crushed bones to form a complete skeleton.

Bones stars David Boreanaz as Seeley Booth, Emily Deschanel as Temperance Brennan, Eric Millegan as Zack Addy, John Francis Daley as Lance Sweets, Michaela Conlin as Angela Montenegro, Tamara Taylor as Camille “Cam” Saroyan, and TJ Thyne as Jack Hodgins.

Fans can catch reruns of Bones every Friday at 8pm on FOX.
