The Big Brother 18 cast is almost here. On Monday, June 13, CBS will reveal the houseguests competing this season, with Jeff Schroeder interviewing them on the live feeds starting at 11am ET/8am PT. However, the latest rumors suggest that not everyone in the new cast will be unknown.

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains potential Big Brother 18 spoilers.

All spoilers should be taken with a grain of salt since nothing is official, but Reality Blurred is reporting that Big Brother 18 will feature four returning players, potentially in something similar to the Coaches twist from season 14.

The site claims that the new cast will consist of 12 newbies and 4 veterans, the same make-up as Big Brother 14. However, they also claim that two of the newbies will share a secret, possibly the fact that they are related to either each other or to former houseguests (maybe even the players who are returning). One occasional rumor on the Internet suggests that one of them could be Tiffany, the younger sister of Vanessa Rousso. The show has done this before with Rachel Reilly’s sister, Elissa Slater, on season 15 (and the brother of Survivor‘s Russell Hantz on season 14).

The bigger news is that Reality Blurred claims to have “confirmed” the four HGs who will return to the game. Allegedly, the returning players, possibly new Coaches, are:

-Season 14 winner Ian Terry
-Season 16 winner Derrick Levasseur
-Season 17’s Vanessa Rousso
-Season 17’s Audrey Middleton

However, these names are far from concrete. Based on recent Twitter activity, Ian in particular seems highly doubtful. It’s less clear whether the others may be real.

But if true, that would be an almost identical line-up to the Coaches from season 14. There are two male winners (like Mike “Boogie” Malin and Dan Gheesling) as well as a strong female competitor who finished third but who people thought should’ve won (Vanessa being the new Janelle Pierzina) and one entertaining personality who didn’t play a great game and is looking for redemption (Audrey and Britney Haynes). The one part that doesn’t make much sense is Audrey since she was evicted so early. Even though Britney got played by the Brigade in season 12, at least she finished in fourth place.

While these four returning players would dominate the storyline, most likely overshadowing the newbies, there are some interesting dynamics. Vanessa and Derrick are the players who strategically dominated and controlled the entire game over the past two seasons. Could Vanessa and Audrey get past their feud from last season and work together? Will Ian remind Vanessa of Steve, the guy who beat dne evicted her at the end of the last summer? And could Ian do what Dan Gheesling didn’t and become the first two-time winner?

It’s entirely possible these rumors aren’t true, or that they’re partly true. Will four returning players come back, and if so, in what capacity? I doubt the show would just redo the Coaches twist in the exact same way. Thankfully, all will be revealed soon enough when the cast of Big Brother 18 is officially announced on Monday.

Big Brother 18 premieres Wednesday, June 22 at 8pm on CBS.
