Battlestar Galactica: Sackhoff's Pilot Put to the Shelf
Battlestar Galactica: Sackhoff's Pilot Put to the Shelf
It doesn't look good for Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff, who was booked for an NBC pilot earlier this year.  Reports have surfaced that the procedural series she got involved in has been passed on by the network.  It seems as though Lost & Found just became found and lost.

The hopeful crime show didn't make NBC's first cut last week, and it's not expected to appear on the network's the official schedule.  It seems grim for the likes of the Dick Wolf-produced drama, unless it can be saved by the NBC's sister cable company.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

There have been talks about shipping Lost & Found over to USA Network, but it seems like such a long shot.  USA has a past with Wolf, working on Law & Order: Criminal Intent before the show migrated to NBC.  Another reason why it looks bleak for the Katee Sackhoff-starrer is that USA already has a female-led cop drama: In Plain Sight.

Katee Sackhoff might have had her time in the spotlight while she starred on Battlestar Galactica.  Since the series ended, there haven't been many roles for the actress to work on.  It seems rather unlikely, since the award-winning celebrity has an enviable background in the industry.

Even though she gained fame as Starbuck on the sci-fi hit, Sackhoff has appeared on a number of television shows throughout her successful career.  The actress has been seen on Bionic Woman, Nip/Tuck, Cold Case and ER.  She even worked in another Dick Wolf brainchild, Law & Order, in 2008.  While they won't push through with Lost & Found, fans of the star hope that Sackhoff be back and busy again soon.

One option she might like to take up is Ben Templesmith's (30 Days of Night) upcoming horror Welcome to Hoxford.  On an interview with MTV News, the award-winning writer/artist revealed which actresses could play the female protagonist of his creation.

"I always saw someone like Katee Sackhoff [Starbuck in Battlestar Galatica] as Dr. Ainley or, in my dreams, Winona Ryder," Templesmith mused.  With that, it looks like Sackhoff won't need to rally behind Lost & Found after all.
