Previously on Battlestar Galactica: Boomer took off with Hera, Kara discovered her dad taught her to play "All Along the Watchtower" and the Galactica continued to fall apart.

It's time to go back to the Kobol Opera House! Hera, Athena, Roslin and Caprica Six are all having dreams of running around the opera house before Caprica Six and Baltar take Hera away.

Hera is quite important and Ellen, Saul and even Kara all try to convince both the Adama men that they need to go after her because she's important, especially since she wrote the music to the Cylon song Kara's dad taught her.

It turns out Ellen (Kate Vernon) knows just where Boomer went: a Cylon colony that was their home after they left at the end of the First Cylon War. The Cylons ask to investigate this colony, but unfortunately Cavil moved it before the Cylon Civil War.

Repairs on the ship take a turn for the worse when a massive quake opens a rift in the hull that starts sucking technicians, humans and Cylons alike, into space. They eventually seal it off and take the survivors to Doc Cottle, though more than 60 (almost half Cylons) were killed.

The Quorum is in session and Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber) tells the newly elected members about the plan to move all military operations to the Cylon basestar as the Galactica fails. They're all against it, except for when they realize it means they can pillage the remains of the Galactica, so everyone starts calling dibs on various parts of the ship.

Roslin (Mary McDonnell) is back on her cancer treatment and as Bill sits with her, she sparks up a fattie. Don't worry, it's medicinal, so they smoke up like they did on New Caprica. Roslin says that even though Bill (Edward James Olmos, who also directed this episode) might love Galactica more than her, he stills needs to let her go because both of his ladies are dying.

After much struggling and an emotional breakdown, Adama calls Tigh (Michael Hogan) into his room to order the Galactica be evacuated as they're abandoning ship. Sad, wistful music plays as the two men share a drink in memory of their fallen lady.
