As if the woman isn’t busy enough!  Tyra Banks, host of America’s Next Top Model, and star of her own talk show, has decided that she needs a little bit more on her plate.  This week, it was announced that Tyra will host a second show for the CW network, a reality show that is described as The Apprentice meets The Devil Wears Prada.  Bank is teaming up with Top Model executive producer Ken Mok for the new project, where they’ll take assistants in the fashion industry and throw them into the spotlight.  Contestants will compete as individuals and as groups to take their careers to the next level.

Executive producer Ken Mok recently dished about the CW’s newest reality show in a statement to the press.  “It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine,” he said. “At the same time they’re trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world.”

So far, the network has ordered 8 episodes of the new series, which will air this spring.  The show does not yet have a title but they have just launched the search for contestants.  A casting call is up on the CW’s website and open calls are being held in Dallas, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Miami in February.

Taking on a news how is not the only change Tyra is making to her life.  According to the San Francisco Chronicle, she is hoping to marry her boyfriend of six months, John Utendahl.  Of being tired of the single life, Tyra said, “I go home and put my key in my door and … nothing; no friends, no husband, no children. I feel so full when I’m at work but so empty when I come home.”  Friends say that she is ready to settle down with her man, a 50 year old investment banker from New York.
