Born on August 25, 1961 in Tullahoma, Tennessee, Allene “Ally” Walker is an actress best known for her role on the HBO television drama series Tell Me You Love Me. She was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her original goal in life was to become a scientist, and she earned a degree in biochemistry after studying at the University of California at Santa Cruz. For a time, she even worked as researcher for a genetic engineering project, while she began getting herself ready for medical school at the UCLA. Things took a turn for the unexpected, however, after she spent a semester at Richmond College of Arts in London, England, where she discovered an interest in performing. Today, she is married to John Landgraf, her second husband, whom she has a son who was born in 1997. the two live in Santa Fe.
Walker’s professional acting career started after being cast in the 1988 feature Aloha Summer. Unfortunately, her role ended up on the cutting room floor. This, however, didn’t deter her to try even harder, putting her scientific career on hold indefinitely. She soon bagged a regular role on the TV series Santa Barbara where she played Andrea Bedford. This was immediately followed by a string of roles in films and television. She eventually became well-known for her roles in Moon Over Miami and Profiling, and films Single, Universal Soldier, and Happy, Texas.
In 2007, Walker starred in an HBO series about sexual relationships called Tell Me You Love Me, where she played the only regular character who didn’t have any nudity or intercourse throughout the season. This all ended in the finale, however, as he had a nude scene while pleasuring herself.
