Dancing with the Stars: Athletes kicked off a new season with the 10 couples putting their best feet forward to earn votes and avoid elimination. The night had some fun routines, but a quick look at the leaderboard makes it very clear that there’s a big divide.

DWTS: Athletes Premiere Recap: The First Dances

Four of the couples earned a 23 or 24 from the judges and cemented themselves at the top, even if one of them was placed in jeopardy for elimination. And it should come as no surprise that those four top stars are the three Olympic figure skaters and the NFL player.

Adam, Mirai, Tonya and Josh were obviously the best of the night, but which routine was your favorite? Here are my rankings for the Top 4 with videos, and you can vote below for your favorite routine from the Dancing with the Stars: Athletes premiere.

#1 Tonya Harding and Sasha Fabrer’s Foxtrot

Elegant and emotional, doing a good job clearly meant a lot to Tonya to prove to all the haters and doubters that she deserves to be here. And she delivered with lyrical movements that should shut up everyone who said she wasn’t graceful or classy.

#2 Mirai Nahasu and Alan Bersten’s Salsa

Between Mirai’s natural athletic talent, Alan’s hotness and a ton of lifts and tricks, this Salsa was on fire.

#3 Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson‘s Cha-Cha-Cha

Adam is a natural performer, born to ham it up and be the center of attention. He delivered in a big way with his fierce move and facial reactions, along with some very skilled technical dancing beneath the artistic fluff.

#4 Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess’ Cha-Cha-Cha

Just like week 2’s guest judge Rashad Jennings, Josh came out and blew everyone away with his natural swagger and sexy moves. My only complaint would be that, as Len Goodman said, he’s just the latest in a long line of football players who are also great dancers.

Which premiere routine was your favorite? Was it one of these four or someone else? Dancing with the Stars: Athletes airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC. For more updates, like BuddyTV’s DWTS Facebook page.
