“If it doesn’t make me money, I don’t do it” — that’s the mantra made famous by Lisa Wu-Hartwell, one of the cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She seems to know a lot about being an entrepreneur since she already has a jewelry line called Wu-Girls Designs and a high-end baby clothing line called Hart2Hart Baby. Most recently, she has decided to venture into yet another lucrative business: a new clothing line of sexy t-shirts meant for women who would not normally be seen dressing provocatively.

Lisa’s new business, Closet Freak, launched earlier this month with a real production —complete with performances by musical acts and a dance troupe. Of course, her Real Housewives co-stars Nene Leakes and Sheree Whitfield were present to support Lisa’s launch.

Lisa didn’t come up with the designs herself though she is involved in the development. Moreover, she gives credit to her amazing designer and event planning staff.

“I was instrumental in picking the swatches,” Lisa told S2S. “I have my own sense of style that I like, so you know I had a huge amount of input as to the designs themselves.”

“I had a great team of people that worked with me. The Brash Collective produced it,” Lisa added. “I’m currently filming the second season of The Housewives of Atlanta, so I’ve been pretty busy. I’ve basically had to delegate those tasks…and we had a successful show.”

Evidently, Lisa named her fashion line, Closet Freak, after her stripper name, she got from a party on The Real Housewives of Atlanta where the ladies where learning to swing around the pole.

“They labeled me Patrón. I didn’t like that name.  So, they put on some music…and I started moving a little bit. Then one of the ladies was like ‘Ah ha! Closet Freak’ so, of course, being the entrepreneur that I am, I researched it and I trademarked it,” she said.
