Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, the stars of the E! reality series, The Girls Next Door, are among the numerous celebrities appearing in Nickelback’s latest music video, “Rockstar.”

Aside from the three women, Nickelback’s new music video also features such celebrities as rapper/musician Kid Rock, hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, KISS vocalist Gene Simmons, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, UFC fighter Chuck Liddell, professional basketball player Grant Hill, musician Ted Nugent and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., who appears four times in the video.

Nickelback’s “Rockstar” is part of the multi-platinum selling album, All The Right Reasons, released under Roadrunner records.  In October 2005, the album entered the Billboard Top 200 charts at #1.  The album won three Billboard Music Awards last year, one of which was for Rock Album of the Year.  Other hits from the album include “Photograph,” “Savin’Me” and “If Everyone Cared.”

The song details the stereotype that many people have about the life of a rock star, and thus features numerous clichés and popular beliefs about the consequences of fame.  In between each verse, Gibbons can be heard interjecting spoken-word vocals, assuming the persona of a rock star who has already made it big in the industry.  The video features the celebrities in their respective environments, lip-synching the lyrics to the song.  Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson appear in the video when lead singer, Chad Kroeger, mentions the Playboy bunnies.

Out of three women of The Girls Next Door, only Wilkinson has previously appeared in a music video.  She was featured in the video for Akon’s “Smack That,” and while on the set, rapper Eminem splashed water across her face for no apparent reason.  This resulted in angry blog post on Wilkinson’s MySpace page, which she, according to a Playboy representative, later removed after receiving flowers and an apology from the rapper.

The Girls Next Door airs Sunday nights at 10/9c on E!.
