As Beth Turner on Moonlight, Sophia Myles remains to be at odds with Shannyn Sossamon’s character, Coraline, who was responsible for her abduction more than two decades ago.  Off-screen, however, Myles and Sossamon have grown to be very good friends.

When asked by Deamon’s TV who if she would like to get more airtime with Jason Dohring, who plays vampire Josef Kostan, since she rarely worked him during the first season of Moonlight, Myles said yes, but enthusiastically hoped that she’ll have more chances to work with Sossamon.

“Yeah it would be nice.  Jason’s great, he’s really cool.  He’s a nice guy so yeah it would be great.  I want to work with Shannyn [Sossamon] though, she’s who I really want to work with,” Myles told Deamon’s TV.

“I think she’s great.  I was a fan of her ages ago.  I was really excited when I found out she was on the show.  I loved her from Knight’s Tale, I just think she’s great, she’s gorgeous.  She’s my friend now so it’d be fun.  We laugh a lot,” she added.

Meanwhile, Myles doesn’t only think highly of Sossamon and Dohring, but also considers the whole cast and crew of the show as a tight-knit family with a lot of creative energy.

“It’s funny, it’s a family,” Myles said of the cast and crew of Moonlight.  “We have our good days and we have our bad days, but when it’s good, it’s amazing.  There’s a lot of laughter, it’s infectious.  I think because there’s such talented people working on this show across the board everyone, all the actors are really strong, the directors are fantastically creative, everyone’s clever so there’s a really great creative sets. We’re a good one.”

As for Beth, Myles reveals that she’s excited for her character given that there are now more storylines to explore after the death of Beth’s boyfriend Josh and with Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin) being human again, at least temporarily.
