The body count is climbing on Scream Queens as everyone starts pointing fingers of who could be the Red Devil killer. In “Chainsaw,” it seems there could be more than one Red Devil killer adding to his or her death toll. As Wes struggles to keep his daughter safe, Grace sets out to figure out who the killer is. Meanwhile, as a way to show the Kappa ladies how to build strong relationships, Munsch and Gigi move into the sorority house. And after a fallout with Chanel #5, Chanel adds to her collection of minions.

Where is Chanel #2?

It seems that the bodies are not only continuing to pile up, but they also go missing on campus. First, Miss Bean and Denise’s partner, and now Chanel #2. Chanel confronts #5 about where the body is, but #5 informs her that she’s over the Red Devil serial killer. She’d rather focus on getting laid by hot guys than worry about a murderer.

But Chanel is not the only one worried about where Chanel #2 is, even if it’s just her body. Grace and Zayday do a little investigating because they haven’t heard from her. Security guard Denise shows the ladies the tweet from #2 saying she’s being murdered by the Red Devil after they find blood in her room. But Grace and Zayday aren’t convinced because it seems #2 is still posting photos on Instagram, though the photo they show looks like #2’s body crumbled by a pool. Not really proof she’s alive.

Grace and Zayday head to Chanel #2’s parents’ house and find out that her real name is Sophia and that she used to date Chad.

Take Back the Night

As a way to assure students that the campus is safe, Munsch holds a Take Back the Night rally. She lets students know that each of the recent deaths was either accidental or suicide, and that the campus is the safest it’s ever been. She then informs the students that due to people mistaking the Red Devil mascot with a possible serial killer, she is changing the school mascot costume to an ice cream cone, Coney.

Coney is very short-lived, though. As he makes his way through campus and back to his dorm room, he comes face to face with the Red Devil and a new weapon of choice, a chainsaw. Perhaps the real mascot was upset the Red Devil costume was no more?

New Kappa Roommates

Munsch informs Gigi that the two will be moving into the Kappa house as a way to lead by example. She wants to show the girls how to form good relationships with other women, and the best way she feels this can happen is for the pair to move in for a week.

She also warns Gigi to back off from flirting with Wes.

Later at the Kappa house, Munsch sits in on a semi-date with Wes and Gigi. When Gigi and Munsch head to bed that night, Munsch plays some crazy “white noise” sounds, which annoy Gigi. She heads down to sleep on the couch and is attacked by the Red Devil. Wes, who was sitting out in his car, hears the screams and rushes in to save her. Gigi is able to knock the Red Devil over but not before Wes is cut by the chainsaw. When Munsch comes down to see what the commotion is about, Wes accuses her of being the Red Devil.

How Many Red Devil Killers are There?

It’s clear there is more than one Red Devil killer. Not only did a Red Devil help Boone fake his death, but in a fantastic street fight scene with Chad and his frat (set to the Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”), two Red Devils show up with chainsaws. Just as one Red Devil is about to kill Chad, one of the frat guys comes to his rescue and, in turn, gets both his arms chopped off.

So Much Finger Pointing

It seems everyone is quick to point fingers at everyone else. After finding out about Chad dating #2 and basically every girl on campus, Grace is convinced that he’s the killer. Though, if he is, then there’d have to be three killers, seeing as how one of the Red Devils tried to kill him. Pete brushes off her theory, though, and reveals his findings on the list of women he found in Munsch’s office. The pair heads off to find the only name still left in the system. Both agree that whoever the killer or killers may be, he or she is probably connected to the death and the baby in the house 20 years ago.

Denise, on the other hand, thinks the killer is Zayday. After handcuffing her in her SUV, Denise brings out all these exhibits proving Zayday could be the suspect; however, Zayday seems to have an explanation for every one. Denise is on to something, though, when she suggests there is more than one killer.

And in a weird scene, Chanel #3 reveals to Predatory Lez/Sam that her real father is Charles Manson. She doesn’t want anyone to know her secret because they will think she’s the killer by family association. She then makes Predatory Lez swear they will be each other’s alibis the next time someone is killed.

Adding to Her Collection

Chanel is on a downward spiral. First, all the dead bodies go missing on her, then #5 bails on her, and now Chad breaks up with her again. He tells her that he just can’t associate with her while the sorority has loser pledges.

Her solution to her problems, or so it seems, is to make over Hester, who of course is a willing participant. When she reveals the new and improved Hester to the sorority sisters and pledges, she introduces her as Chanel #6. Of course, #5 is furious. She says that Chanel is breaking the rules and she shouldn’t be president.

Everyone is a Suspect

It really does seem like everyone is a suspect. Wouldn’t that be funny if everyone is the killer? I mean, each has a motive to kill other characters on the show. And it’s already been revealed there is more than one killer. I want the killer or killers to be Chanel or #5 or even Munsch or Grace, but it seems unrealistic for a woman to be running around with a chainsaw killing people.

If I had to take a guess, even though Scream Queens is only three episodes in, I’d say it could be Wes. It’s rather odd how overprotective he is of Grace. He’s quick to point fingers at Munsch and he has a weird fascination with 1974’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Though, it could just be Boone and his lover. Since Boone is alive, I could see that. Why not reveal the killer in the first episodes and just have it play out? That’s a good concept.
