Lane Garrison, who played Tweener on FOX’s Prison Break, crashed his SUV into a tree in Beverly Hills on Saturday Night. He was driving two 15-year old girls and one 17-year old male. The females escaped with minor injuries, as did Garrison, but the 17-year old was taken to a hospital where he was soon pronounced dead. Alcohol was involved in the crash, according to authorities. To what degree is yet unknown.
On the surface, this story brings up a lot of questions. What was Garrison doing driving around underage girls? You’d think that a heavy amount of alcohol would have to be involved to drive into a tree. Maybe they were just driving fast and reckless. Over 50 nearby residents held a candlelight vigil at the crash site that night. This is a tragic, terribly unfortunate accident. You have to hope that this was, truly, an accident, but the evidence looks pretty damning as of now. Garrison’s character on Prison Break, Tweener, was killed off the show on the Oct. 2 episode. -Oscar Dahl, BuddyTV Senior Writer
