Starz’s prequel Outlander: Blood of My Blood isn’t slowing down. The series has already secured a Season 2 renewal. This comes even as Episode 7 lands with a flurry of emotional blows and political stakes.

Episode 7 is titled “Luceo Non Uro,” and underscores how the Clan MacKenzie motto frames the hour’s choices. The story moves between Leoch and House Nairne as secrets spill and allegiances harden.

What Episode 7 Reveals

At House Nairne, a covert Jacobite gathering puts Ellen at the center of a spiraling scandal. Brian fires a shot to create chaos as Redcoats close in. Dougal punches Brian after witnessing his blatant affection for Ellen. Back at Leoch, gossip spreads when Mrs. Fitz mistakes a tartan square as proof that Ellen secretly wed Murtagh. The Grants then demand a demeaning “virginity test” for Ellen after new rumors surface.

Meanwhile at Leathers, Julia and Davina dose Lord Lovat with chaste berry and watch him bribe a reverend to falsify dates in the parish ledger. His henchman then silences the witness for good. Julia quietly christens her baby William Henry Beauchamp. This choice stokes major fan theories about the wider Outlander saga. Henry, desperate to reach the stones, is captured after Seema betrays him. Julia later discovers a letter that proves Henry is in Scotland, renewing her resolve to find him.

Cast & Creators on the Prequel’s Scope

The prequel tracks two love stories across eras—Jamie’s parents in early‑1710s Scotland and Claire’s parents amid World War I. In a new interview, Jeremy Irvine and Hermione Corfield (Henry Beauchamp and Julia Moriston) talk about filming in Scotland. They discuss the prequel’s sweep, and even the realities of on‑location shoots, lending first‑hand texture to the show’s period grit.

What’s Next for Outlander: Blood of My Blood?

With Season 2 officially on the way, the series is poised to keep braiding intimate romance with clan politics and the looming Jacobite rising. Availability varies by region. In the U.S., Episode 7 rolled out on STARZ on Friday, September 12, 2025. Meanwhile, SciFiNow notes the show is streaming on MGM+ in its coverage—an easy reminder that platforms can differ by territory.
