Kahlen Rondot Biography:
Kahlen Rondot was born on December 19, 1983 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Being a lover of animals and nature, Kahlen is an animal rights advocate and a vegetarian. She was a student at the Broken Arrow High School in her hometown and at the Barbizon Modeling and Acting Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Although Kahlen loves to model, she also used to mud-wrestle in her backyard.
When she decided to pursue a career in modeling, she entered America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 4, and was selected by the judges to appear as one of the 14 finalists. Out of all the girls, Kahlen was the most shy, and her lack of self-confidence often got the best of her during the challenges and photo shoots. Nevertheless, she was able to produce beautiful pictures. Two of her most memorable photographs are from the “7 Deadly Sins” shoot, where she used her despair (upon finding out that a high school friend had passed away) to appear as wrathful as she possible can, and from the South Africa shoot, where she dazzled all with her portrayal of South Africa’s national animal, the springbok. The judges often commented that she looked like Estonian supermodel Carmen Kass. Kahlen was able to make it all the way to the Top 2, but even as Janice Dickinson rallied for her during evaluation, the ultimate decision was in favor of Naima, making Kahlen the runner-up.
Since appearing on the show, Kahlen has continued to build her career by appearing in magazines like ElleGirl Magazine, US Weekly Magazine and Vice Magazine and by modeling for Shumaq clothing and FORD Fusion. She has also done a some runway shows, namely ElleGirl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America’s Next Top Models 2005, and Alice and Olivia Fall 2006. When she went on The Tyra Banks Show, she revealed that her friends sexually assaulted her when she had gotten intoxicated at a party. Currently, Kahlen is also working at a bar in New York City.
