Kelly Clarkson just performed her new single on the CMA Music Festival the other night, and now she has released a music video for “Tie It Up” — and fittingly, it has a wedding theme. Lee DeWyze’s new album hasn’t dropped yet, but you can listen to every song for free right now. Also in today’s Roundup, both Kellie Pickler and Haley Reinhart have each debuted new songs — and Casey Abrams lends a hand for his fellow season 10 finalist.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Tie It Up” Music Video

Kelly Clarkson’s first solo foray into country music is with her current single “Tie It Up.” (Her previous country tunes have all been duets.) And now the music video has been released. It has a wedding theme, which is very fitting considering the Idol Queen is getting ready for her own wedding to Reba’s step-son, Brandon Blackstock.

Fans were able to submit their own wedding photos and videos, which are featured in the video, intercut with Kelly performing the song for a crowd; at the end, she catches the bouquet and winks to the camera — a nice touch that signals she’s the next one to tie the knot, or rather, to “Tie It Up.”

Listen to Lee DeWyze’s New Album Frames

Are you a fan of season 10 winner Lee DeWyze? Well, even if you aren’t, you should still check out his upcoming sophomore album Frames, which drops on August 20, because it sounds fantastic. It doesn’t have the safe pop-y songs of his debut; he’s now with a record label that supports his musical efforts and he’s able to showcase who he is as an artist. Ahead of the release, the entire album is available to stream for free.

He told Billboard, “The recording process was organic. I felt very comfortable being able to write the songs I wanted to write, to record and produce in an atmosphere without any pressure to make a ‘certain’ type of record. I was able to do what I wanted to do, with great people, and musicians around me.”

Lee says that “It’s hard to pick a favorite track. That’s like picking your favorite child. However, besides ‘Silver Lining,’ the first single, some of my favorites are ‘Don’t Be Afraid,’ ‘Fire Away,’ ‘Like I Do’ and Frames,’ just to name a few.”

Speaking of his first single, he performed “Silver Lining” this past spring on American Idol — it’s a great track with a catchy melody. Both that song and “Fight” are very reminiscent of Phillip Phillips’ “Home” — in fact, many of the tracks have a very Phillip Phillips vibe to it, which to me is a very good thing.

Kellie Pickler Debuts New Single “A Little Bit Gypsy”

Now that Kellie Pickler has won Dancing with the Stars, she can focus on recording a new album. The first single “Someone Somewhere Tonight” was a slower tune, more of a ballad. But this new single, “A Little Bit Gypsy,” is upbeat and fun. She debuted it recently at one of her concerts, and mentions that her husband is a co-writer on the track. Take a look at the performance below:

Haley Reinhart Performs New Song with Casey Abrams

Season 10 finalists Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams became close friends because of American Idol. And they’ve teamed up again on a new song written by Haley called “My Cake,” which she performed at the Universal City Walk in LA recently. It’s not a duet, but Casey plays the guitar and sings back-up. The jazz feel very much suits both Haley and Casey’s musical styles.
