Week 6 stakes, schedule and where to watch
This post contains spoilers for Oct. 22, 2025. Episode 6 of The Golden Bachelor Season 2 aired Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT/MT) on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu. Remaining schedule: Episode 7 (likely “The Women Tell All”) on Oct. 29 and Episode 8 (likely “After the Final Rose/Finale”) on Nov. 5. Episodes run two hours.
Season 2 stars Mel Owens, 66, a former Los Angeles Rams linebacker turned lawyer from Detroit.
What happened in Hometowns

Mel visited Las Vegas, Denver, and Austin to meet families for Peg, Debbie, and Cindy.
In Las Vegas, Peg, a retired firefighter and bomb tech, toured her old firehouse before a family sit-down with daughter Dakota. When asked, Mel said, “No, I’m not in love with your mom yet,” adding he wasn’t in that stage. Dakota admitted she didn’t feel “at ease.”
In Denver, Debbie took Mel to Red Rocks Amphitheatre and opened up about the tragic end of her last relationship, saying that after she walked away, “two weeks later … he took his life,” which “altered me forever.”
In Austin, Cindy told Mel she was falling in love. He replied, “I’m not there yet … I don’t use the word love lightly.”
Who went home and the Final 2
Mel called it “the toughest rose ceremony,” saying, “I think they all deserve the rose.” He eliminated Debbie Siebers, saying, “My heart doesn’t feel okay with it.”
The Final 2 are Cindy Angelcyk Cullers and Peg Munson. A finale in two weeks will reveal his choice after next week’s “Women Tell All.” The cast heads to Antigua for the last episode.
Family roll call and details we learned
- Peg’s family: daughter Dakota (and boyfriend Kohl), mom Dorothy, brother Guy (and sister-in-law Brenda).
- Debbie’s family: brothers Ron and Steve; sisters Judy (and husband Mark) and Donna (her twin).
- Cindy’s family: daughters Caroline, Sarah, Emily; son-in-law Fred; future son-in-law Alex.
What Mel has (and hasn’t) revealed
Asked by US Weekly on Oct. 22 if he picked someone, Mel said: “I know who it is. It’s really emotional … It’s so good, you won’t believe it.”
Reality Steve has fewer spoilers this season; Arizona Republic notes Carol was eliminated before hometowns while Peg made the Final 3, and Debbie’s hometown date was at Red Rocks.

Why this week matters
