Glee is taking a little hiatus due to baseball, but the show will return starting November 1 for a very big November. FOX has released the official descriptions for the next three episodes, so check out what’s coming up for your favorite McKinley students.
“Pot o’ Gold” (November 1)
Official Description: “A new foreign exchange student, Rory Flanagan (guest star Damian McGinty, winner of The Glee Project), enrolls at McKinley and crashes with Brittany S. Pierce who thinks he’s a leprechaun. Meanwhile, Mercedes attempts to recruit new members to join Shelby Corcoran’s newly formed glee club, and Sue’s congressional campaign heats up.”
-If you follow Glee spoilers, you’ll know that Sue’s big competitor is none other than small business owner and Father of the Year Burt Hummel, who seems like a perfect candidate to win over Ohio voters. And as far as Shelby’s glee club goes, one of the first (but not the last) defectors will be Santana, because I guess she’s contractually obligated to change her glee club status in every single episode.
“The First Time” (November 8)
Official Description: “Under Artie’s directorial leadership, the kids prepare to perform the school musical West Side Story. Meanwhile, Finn meets with a recruiter, and Coach Beiste has an admirer.”
-Though the description doesn’t talk about it, the episode title comes from the fact that both Rachel and Kurt will lose their virginity (naturally to Finn and Blaine, respectively). I’m sure the Parents Television Council already has its panties in a bunch over that one. And it looks like Finn’s football recruiter and Coach Beiste’s admirer are the same person, played by Eric Bruskotter.
“Mash Off” (November 15)
Official Description: “Sue starts a smear campaign to take down her biggest competitor for the Congressional seat. Meanwhile, Puck has a crush, and Will and Shelby Corcoran encourage some friendly competition.”
-Who doesn’t love it when glee clubs face off? As for Puck’s crush, while part of my wishes it would be Sugar Motta (because that would be hilarious), it sounds like he’s returning to his cougar-hunting ways of season 1, targeting the adoptive mother of his child, Shelby. That might be the only way to make the custody battle even weirder.
With the arrival of the awesome Glee Project winner Damian, a glee club vs. glee club battle and some sexy times for two major characters, November is sure to be full of fireworks on Glee.
