Disney Night on Dancing with the Stars delivered big emotions on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, and ended with Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko leaving the competition. People reported backstage moments that the broadcast missed, while E! captured the pair’s raw post-show reaction, and Fox News published a short video the following day.

Backstage moments you didn’t see

Inside the ballroom on October 7, Whitney Leavitt received the season’s first 9 from a judge, a milestone noted amid a flurry of Disney-themed routines. Sasha Farber, who is not competing this season, said backstage, “I’m pinching myself,” before performing in the group number.

Elaine Hendrix rehearsed with Alan Bersten as Lisa Ann Walter and Sheryl Lee Ralph cheered her on in the audience. Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess were also backstage; Burgess, 40, previously competed with Green on season 30. Lele Pons and Liz Gillies made surprise appearances—Gillies even crashed a post‑show chat—while Lindsay Arnold brought her 4‑year‑old daughter, Sage, to support Rylee Arnold after “Bop to the Top” with Scott Hoying.

The elimination stung. After Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko were announced as the couple going home, several of Baldwin’s children grew emotional in the audience. She later went to console them, while Savchenko received supportive pats on the back from fellow pros Pasha Pashkov and Brandon Armstrong.

Hilaria Baldwin reacts to elimination

Speaking with E! on October 8, Hilaria reflected on how the exit felt in the moment: “We’re okay,” she said. “I mean, we’re not great, but we’re okay at the same time. It’s mixed.” She recalled a conversation with her daughter on their first night in Los Angeles: “I said to my daughter, because I’m so open with my kids, ‘What happens if I get voted off right away?’ She said, ‘Mommy, at least you tried.’ And I hope they always know that: At least I tried.”

Gleb praised his partner’s growth and heart. “You tried your best, I’m so proud of you,” he told her, adding that dancing together “was so real, so authentic,” before calling her “a real, true superhero in the studio” and “an amazing mom.” After the exit, Baldwin said she plans to keep supporting the cast: “We have 10 votes. We can give one to each one of them, because we love them all equally.”

What Fox’s video adds

In a 52‑second Fox News Digital clip published on October 8, Baldwin described the experience of being misunderstood as “painful” and addressed “misinformation,” while expressing hope that sharing her story might help others facing similar scrutiny.
