Kim Raver and William Devane are returning for the 24 limited-event run. There’s going to be a showdown on The Big Bang Theory as Bob Newhart and Bill Nye go head-to-head. And Nathan Fillion will be guest starring on Community. Read on for all the details, including casting announcements for Trophy Wife, The Following, The Crazy Ones, Hart of Dixie, Criminal Minds, The Mindy Project and Game of Thrones — which of these shows is The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery performing on? Hint: It’s the same name as one of her songs.

Kim Raver and William Devane returning for 24: Live Another Day: Speculation has been brewing about other cast members joining Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub for the return of the FOX drama. And now it’s been made official: TVLine is reporting that Raver will reprise her role as Audrey Raines, with Devane coming back as her father, James Heller. In the season 6 finale, he ordered that Jack Bauer never see his daughter again — bringing them back will certainly lead to some interesting, but as of right now unknown, developments.

Bob Newhart vs. Bill Nye on The Big Bang Theory: Coming on the heels of Newhart’s Emmy win last month, Professor Proton is back! And he’s bringing along the Science Guy himself, Bill Nye, who was eliminated recently on Dancing with the Stars. According to a press release, Proton gets in touch with Leonard to help him with an experiment, which leaves Sheldon feeling left out and hurt — so he decides to seek revenge by teaming up with the professor’s rival, played by Nye. The episode will air on November 7.

Nathan Fillion guest starring on Community: The Castle star will play a janitor who, according to Deadline, is “not afraid to get his hands dirty but is smart enough to wear rubber gloves. Annie and Professor Hickey must find a way to get past him when they team up together.

Dennis Haysbert the chaperone on Trophy Wife: The former 24 Commander in Chief will guest star as Russ Bradley Morrison, who chaperones a school field trip to the museum with Kate. But it doesn’t go smoothly for him, notes TVLine, when she tries her hands at matchmaking.

Leslie Bibb joins The Following: TV Guide is reporting that the Popular star has signed on to the FOX drama and will play a housewife named Jana Murphy who crosses paths with Joe Carroll — but is she a follower or a victim? We don’t know yet, which makes it all the more suspenseful.

Ed Asner to play an actor on The Crazy Ones: Yet another big-name guest star will appear on the new CBS comedy. According to TV Guide, Asner’s character is a commercial actor named Glen “Mr. Finger” Hastings, and Sydney finds him to be charming. The episode he’s in is called “The Stan Wood Account,” though it’s unknown at this point when it will air.

Danielle Bradbery performing on Hart of Dixie: The Voice season 4 winner, who won under the mentorship of coach Blake Shelton, will make a cameo in episode 8 this season in which she performs her single, “The Heart of Dixie,” reports The Hollywood Reporter — it seems obvious that the name of the song is the reason why they’ve brought her on board. But when you’ve got a great tie-in like that, you can’t blame them.

Paget Bewster returning to Criminal Minds: She’s coming back as part of the show’s 200th episode, which is scheduled to air in February. Executive producer Erica Messer said in a statement, “Our 200th episode is going to be a special show. We can’t imagine telling this story without Paget being present.” She told TV Guide, “[Episode] 200 is flashback-heavy, but with things fans who’ve watched all 199 will be happy with. Our goal is to reward everyone who’s been with us for 200 episodes.”

Vanessa Bayer as a love interest on The Mindy Project: Details on her one-episode appearance are scarce at the moment, but we do know that the Saturday Night Live star will be playing a “potential love for Chris Messina’s newly single doc Danny,” according to TVLine, and not everyone will be on board with it.

Joel Fry will meet Dany on Game of Thrones: The British actor has been cast as Hizdahr, a character that’s being described as the “young scion of an accient Meereenese family who crosses paths with Daenerys Targaryen,” notes Entertainment Weekly. In another sign that the showrunners aren’t afraid to depart from the original source material, Hizdahr first makes an appearance in A Dance with Dragons, the fifth novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin, while the upcoming season 4 is largely based on the latter half of book three, A Storm of Swords.
