Big Brother 18 has released the names and bios of 12 new HGs who will compete for half a million dollars. The fact that only 12 names are revealed certainly adds credibility to the rumors that there will be four returning players.

The new cast also features two people with a notable connection to previous seasons. Paulie Calafiore is the brother of season 16 runner-up Cody and Tiffany Rousso is the sister of last season’s Vanessa.

The cast also seems far more diverse than past seasons, with several Hispanic houseguests. However, the age range is still skewing young, with 10 of them in their 20s. Tiffany is 32, and the one old man is 50, much older than we’ve seen in recent seasons. In fact, Glenn is the oldest HG since Jerry and Renny from season 10 and he’s only the fifth person over 50 ever (Gerry from season 3 and Jack from season 4 being the others).

If the rumors are true, these 12 newbies will be joined by Da’Vonne Rogers, James Huling, Nicole Franzel and Frank Eudy in some capacity. More twists will be revealed later and the season will last a record 99 days.
