Freeform’s Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? just concluded its first season with Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell re-affirming their love for each other and making a decision that the wedding is back on. However, the couple who got engaged on The Bachelor season 20 isn’t sure of a lot of things these days, including having a televised wedding or whether or not their spin-off series will get renewed.

Bachelorette Couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Interested in Having Spin-Off Series>>>

“We really don’t know,” Bushnell told E! News when asked whether there will be a season two. “We’re trying not to think too far. Until that’s something that’s actually presented to us, we haven’t really even thought about it.”

“I have no idea,” Higgins said, before throwing the question to his fiancee. “What do you think?”

“I don’t know, truly,” Bushnell replied. “I have no idea.”

Though Higgins previously called off the wedding due to pressure, the couple claims to be better than ever. And while it looks like they won’t be getting married anytime soon, the wedding planning is not completely a halt.

“She still brings up the cake and the dress and the food sometimes, so no, not completely to a halt,” Higgins said. “I’d say it just doesn’t have the immediacy as it did before.”

As for whether the couple will say “I do” on TV, they remain uncertain as well.

“I have no idea. A lot of that isn’t fully up to us,” Bushnell explained. “So we’re trying not to really think about like, is it going to be on TV, or where are we going to live in 10 years. There are so many unanswered questions and so many things that aren’t necessarily in our control, so we’re just trying to enjoy the time now.”

Do you think they will ever get married? Should Ben and Lauren get another season or are you getting tired of this couple?

The Bachelor season 21 premieres January 2 at 8/7c on ABC.
