John Murphy has come a long way from the guy who was almost executed in Season 1 and revealed his tragic youth on the Ark in Season 2. When The 100 Season 3 begins, Murphy is still living it up in the luxurious bunker.

The 100 On Set Interview: Eliza Taylor Teases Clarke’s in “Pure Survival Mode”>>>

BuddyTV joined a group of reporters to visit The 100 set in Vancouver where we had the opportunity to talk to the newly promoted series regular, Richard Harmon, about his time in the bunker and what’s coming up for Murphy this season.

“He starts off right where we left him– right in the bunker. He’s watching the video and he’s going to be curious to see what else comes from that,” Harmon said.

The bunker provides information about what happened in the past. Harmon teases, “It’s pretty awesome and when you start watching the season you won’t have to wait long to find out kind of what else is going on down there. It’s very interesting and very fun stuff.”

What will Murphy find out? “The decimation of Earth started where he is currently. I think it would be tough for him to not clue into some things.”

For more about Murphy’s journey watch the video interview below including Harmon’s Twilight Zone reference about Murphy’s time in the bunker, thoughts about Jaha’s “mission,” a possible romance and a changed Murphy.

The 100 Season 3 premieres Thursday, January 21 at 9pm ET on the CW.
