During middle school, Wesley Nault began making his own clothes and got paid by his schoolmates to do the same for them. He attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for four years, while being interned at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs and Levi’s Group Inc. Learning the ins and outs of the industry, Wesley joined Project Runway to continue polishing his skills and turn into a professional designer.
Wesley considers himself to be poised, having a design style that’s clean and classic. His fashion is influenced by Jeanne Lanvin, Cristobal Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs, among others. He also favors big old sunglasses, and boasts of a sophisticated aesthetic.
