Born on July 14, 1946 in Bronx, New York, actor Vincent Pastore was educated at Pace University for three years before pursuing an acting career. Of Italian-American descent, he is best known for his portrayal of Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero on the critically acclaimed series,
The Sopranos , and Tony Scarboni in the film The Jerky Boys.
Pastore's other film credits include the HBO made-for-TV, Gotti, A Brooklyn State of Mind, Witness to the Mob, The Hurricane, Two Family House, Under Hellgate Bridge and After the Storm. Moving on to television, he appeared in Queens Supreme as Norm Delgado,

Law & Order . He was supposed to join the fourth season of
Dancing with the Stars , but he found the training and preparation too physically demanding, and was thus forced to drop out of the competition.
Pastore lent his voice to Luca in Shark Tale, and currently hosts The Wise Guy Show on Sirius Satellite Radio's Raw Dog Comedy channel. Aside from appearing on television, he also has a number of nightclubs and music venues to his name. He will also star on the Broadway production, Chicago.
In 2007, Vincent Pastore was cast as one of 14 contestants on NBC's seventh season of The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition, where he is to vie for the prize of $250,000 worth charity reward.
