Alex Binder was just an average teen until he starred on the first season of Two-A-Days, a reality series on MTV that showcased the lives of teens at Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama. It also featured the members of the school’s football team, the Hoover Buccaneers, during the football season as they balanced education and athletics, as well as formed relationships. On the show, Binder was a senior who became the starting linebacker for the Hoover Buccaneers. Distinctly recognized for his #34 jersey and his letterman jacket with "LB" on his right sleeve, he served as one of the co-captains of the team. Also showcased on the show was his aspiration to earn an athletic scholarship to attend college and his relationship with Kristin Boyle, a senior cheerleader who had been dating Binder on and off since the start of high school. Eventually, he broke up with Boyle before the state championship game, in which the Hoover Buccaneers won.
