On February 4, CBS is premiering Welcome to the Captain, a new comedy series about a young filmmaker who moves into his best friend‘s legendary apartment building after his career hits a wall.  There, he meets an eccentric array of tenants who turns his life upside down. Originally, the network scheduled Welcome to the Captain‘s premiere for Monday, January 28.  However, it has been forced to push back the premiere one week, in order to give way to the State of the Union Address.
