Episode 2 - The Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati [love of fate] 11/14/1999 Edit details Scully has almost given up hope on how to save Mulder after he has gone missing from the hospital; Mulder has a strange dream in which the Cigarette Smoking Man takes him away from his current life and into an ulternate one, in which his sister, Samantha, lives next door, and he is married to Diana Fowley.

Episode 1 - The Sixth Extinction 11/7/1999 Edit details Scully goes to Africa to figure out what the writtings on the piece of the spaceship mean. She keeps getting warning signs from a mysterious man, and her life is at stake from the same crazy man who killed the original holder of the piece of the spaceship. Meanwhile, Mulder breaks down and is taken to a mental hospital.

Episode 22 - Biogenesis 4/25/1999 Edit details A mysterious object with bizzare writtings on it found in Africa is the reason for one man's murder, and it causes Mulder to have horrible headaches and the inability to hear.

Episode 18 - Milagro [miracle] 4/18/1999 Edit details Scully begins to notice Mulder's next-door-neighbor, while they are investigating a series of murders in which the victims hearts have been removed. Mulder's creepy neighbor, Philip Padgett, admits to being Scully's secret admirer, and to having sent her a milagro charm. As he tries to get closer to her, Mulder tries to connect Padgett to the murders.

Episode 15 - Arcadia 3/7/1999 Edit details Their first case back on the X-Files, Mulder and Scully must pose as a married couple in a gated community to figure out the disappearances of the former homeowners.

Episode 10 - Tithonus 1/24/1999 Edit details A newspaper suspects its photographer of being a murderer when they find that he has two sets of photos of each murder, one set taken before the body was found. Scully is assigned to this case with a different partner as Kirsch's way of trying to get her out of the X-Files. The man she is investigating may have been around for quite a lot longer than expected.

Episode 8 - The Rain King 1/10/1999 Edit details The town of Kroner, Kansas is getting some pretty strange weather. They have recently been getting a drought that is occationally relieved by rain that townsfolk believe is brought by Darryl Mootz, a self-proclaimed "Rain King". Things seem to be tied to Shelia, Darryl's former fiancee, and Holman Hardt, her weatherman best friend who has been in love with her since high school.

Episode 7 - How the Ghosts Stole Christmas 12/13/1998 Edit details Mulder tricks Scully into investigating a house rumored to be haunted. The house really and truly is haunted, by two ghosts with an ironic zest for life whose only goal is to keep themselves on the tourist literature by having another murder-suicide in the house.

Episode 5 - Dreamland II 12/6/1998 Edit details Scully finally figures out that the man inside Mulder's body is not really Mulder; that Mulder was the one who got arrested back in Area 51. Scully and Morris go back to Nevada to get the flight data recorder to get information to find a way to switch back, while Mulder tries to survive with Morris's nagging wife, troublesome kids, and recently suspicious co-workers.

Episode 4 - Dreamland 11/29/1998 Edit details After being called by a source who works at Area 51, Mulder and Scully drive out to Nevada to meet him. Things go wrong when they are stopped on the road by some Area 51 officials, and Mulder winds up switching bodies and lives with the radically different Morris Fletcher.

Episode 3 - Triangle 11/22/1998 Edit details Mulder goes looking for - and finds - a ghost ship that disappeared in the Bremuda Triangle on Spetember 2, 1939, the day Britain declared war on Germany. He finds himself not in present day 1998, but actually in 1939. He also finds himself running into his present boss, his former boss, his archenemy, his current nemesis, and his partner as he tries to convince 1939 Scully of who he is and what he knows. Meanwhile, present day Scully tries to find Mulder and get him out of trouble.

Episode 20 - The End 5/17/1998 Edit details Mulder and Scully investigate the attempted murder of chess progedy Gibson Praise, to find that he is able to read minds. Also, Mulder's ex who found the X-Files with him, Diana Fowley, comes back to offer help, causing tension not only between herslef and Mulder and herself and Scully, but between Scully and Mulder as well.

Episode 12 - Bad Blood 2/22/1998 Edit details With the possibility of being sued for the murder of a teenage boy Mulder believed to be a vampire, he and Scully recount the events that happened, each from their own points of view.

Episode 11 - Kill Switch 2/15/1998 Edit details When the co-creator of a dangerous artificial intelligence turns up dead, Mulder and Scully track down one of the other creators, Invisigoth, to destroy the articifial intelligences before it destroys them.

Episode 7 - Emily 12/14/1997 Edit details Scully, finding out that Emily is hers, tries to adopt her, but is turned out. She enlists Mulder's help to protect and save Emily, and get her help with her bizzare medical condition.

Episode 6 - Christmas Carol 12/7/1997 Edit details Scully gets a call from a disembodied voice that sounds like her dead sister Melissa. The voice leads her to a case of a little girl, who looks suspiciously like her sister Melissa at that age, whose mother has been killed.

Episode 5 - The Post-Modern Prometheus 11/30/1997 Edit details Mulder and Scully investigate a Frankenstein-esque story, complete with all the Frankenstein characters, in a small, Jerry Springer obsessed town.

Episode 3 - Unusual Suspects 11/16/1997 Edit details This episode recounts the time when the Lone Gunmen first got together, and the time when Mulder first meets them. All three of the Lone Gunmen are at some sort of technology convention where Byers works for the FCC, and Langley and Frohike are rival cable providers. Byers meets and immediately falls for a dangerous woman named Susan Modeski, who is not who Byers thinks she is.

Episode 2 - Redux II 11/9/1997 Edit details When the superriors find out that Mulder isn't dead, they put him on trial to figure out who killed the man in the appartment above him. Mulder also struggles with his emotions as Scully is dying and his superriors want him to name Skinner as the murderer.

Episode 20 - Small Potatoes 4/20/1997 Edit details A town has been experiencing a series of births of babies with tails. Most of the women who had these babies had tried invitro fertilization, but the last, a girl named Amanda, claims that Luke Skywalker is the father. A janitor at the fertility clinic becomes a suspect when the agents find that he had a tail and can transform himself to look like anyone he wants to.

Episode 14 - Memento Mori [remember you will die] 2/9/1997 Edit details When Scully finds out that she has cancer, she tries to find another abductee, now dead, who remembered Scully from her own abduction. All of the women who were abducted have been diagnosed with cancer. Scully decides to check in for early treatment while Mulder tries to find a way to save her life.

Episode 13 - Never Again 2/2/1997 Edit details Scully and Mulder spend some time apart when they stop getting along so well. While Mulder is gone on vacation, he asks Scully to keep tabs on someone they have been following. Bored with this assignment, Scully ditches the stake out to go out with a dangerous man with a dangerous tattoo.

Episode 7 - Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man 11/17/1996 Edit details This episode, a story about the Cigarette Smoking Man, told from Frohike's point of view, connects the Smoking Man to several historical events, and pretty much tells his life story.

Episode 2 - Home 10/11/1996 Edit details A dead baby is found in a field of a small town. When Scully tries to do the autopsy, she finds that the baby has every genetic mutation that she can think of. This discovery leads her and Mulder to a family of inbred genetic mutants whom the agents suspect of kidnapping a woman.

Episode 21 - Avatar 4/26/1996 Edit details On the day that Skinner's wife asks him to sign the divorce papers, he decides to go out for the night. In the morning, he finds himself in bed - with a dead woman. Skinner is accused of murder, and is also seeing a freaky old woman who seems to be following him.

Episode 20 - Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space' 4/12/1996 Edit details Famous author Jose Chung comes to Scully as he tries to write a book on alien abductions. Along the way, we hear Scully's version of events. The case in question includes two teenagers, a boy and a girl, who may or may not have been abducted, a nerdy teenager, and possibly Alex Trebeck, just to name a few.

Episode 17 - Pusher 2/23/1996 Edit details Robert "Pusher" Modell has finally been caught after admitting to murders over the phone. He posseses the ability to force his will onto other people, making them see what he wants them to see, and is able to control his trial so that he gets off innocent, leaving Mulder and Scully to further pursue him.

Episode 13 - Syzygy 1/26/1996 Edit details Two crazy teenage girls with an odd power to make things happen at their own will may be murderers of other teenagers they dislike. When Mulder and Scully go to investigate, the way the stars are alligned cause them to go through some unexplainable angst.

Episode 12 - War of the Coprophages 1/5/1996 Edit details Bored one night when he cant go into his appartment, Mulder decides to go investigate a death that might involve cockroaches. Meanwhile, Scully talks to him over the phone, offering him help where she can and offering to actually come over and help him.

Episode 14 - Die Hand die verletzt [the hand that wounds] 1/27/1995 Edit details When two teenage boys try to call on the Devil to impress two girls, one ends up dead when things go wrong. This leads to Mulder and Scully investigating a possible cult connected to a high school, and a creepy substitute teacher.

This particular death fetishist, Donnie Pfaster, was found cutting the hair of a dead girl in a morgue. After spending a night in jail and seeing Mulder and Scully, he starts stalking Scully.

Episode 8 - One Breath 11/11/1994 Edit details Scully is somehow back, and in a coma. Mulder meets Scully's sister, Melissa, and argues with Melissa and Scully's mother, Margaret, about whether or not they should keep her on life support. Meanwhile, Mulder tries to find a way to save Scully while Melissa tries to get him to admit to his own feelings.

Episode 6 - Ascension 10/21/1994 Edit details At the end of Duane Barry, Scully was abducted...by Duane Barry. Trying to find her, Mulder and Krycek try to track down Duane Barry before it is too late, sans Assistant Director Skinner.

Episode 5 - Duane Barry 10/14/1994 Edit details Mulder and Krycek investigate a hostage situation, where the control is in the hands of the psychotic Duane Barry, who claims to have been abducted by aliens.

Episode 13 - Beyond the Sea 1/7/1994 Edit details Scully's father dies on Christmas. After attending the funeral, she helps Mulder investigate a kidnapping case that may be linked to Luther Lee Boggs, a 'psychic' in jail for killing his entire family. While Mulder doesn't believe that Boggs is psychic and the only way he would know where the kids are is if Boggs is in on it, Scully begins to believe - and deny - Boggs when the things he says and does link too closely to her father's death.

Episode 12 - Fire 12/17/1993 Edit details Mulder's ex, Pheobe Green, from Oxford, now working for Scotland Yard, comes to ask Mulder for help in protecting a member of British aristocracy. They are visiting the US and are in danger of firey deaths that have plagued other members of British aristocy. The family's wives have recieved love letters before hand. Meanwhile, Mulder and Pheobe deal with some angst and Mulder reveals his fear of fire.

Episode 5 - The Jersey Devil 10/8/1993 Edit details Mulder and Scully investigate the Jersey Devil. Or rather, Mulder investigates the Jersey Devil while Scully tries to have a life.

Episode 3 - Squeeze 9/24/1993 Edit details Scully meets up with an old classmate, Tom Colton, who tells her that he has a case that's "out there", and he wants her help with it - and Mulder's, so long as Mulder remember's that it's Colton's case and not his. He tells Scully that helping with this case could get her off the X-Files. Meanwhile, Mulder tells her that the case was theirs from the beginning anyway, as there are case files dating back to the early 1900s.

Episode 1 - Pilot 9/10/1993 Edit details Special Agent Dana Scully is assigned by her supperiors to debunk the work of Special Agent Fox "Spooky" Mulder. Mulder doesn't trust her and thinks she's there to spy on them. They go out to Oregon to investigate the recent deaths of former classmates of the same graduating class, all of whom died out in the woods.
