Among the slough of legal dramas that television boasts of, there‘s one proclaiming itself a step above the others. ABC‘s The Whole Truth is being billed as a unique new series showing two sides of the coin - the defense and the prosecution. It will haul audiences deeper into the world of the legal system, all while keeping them guessing until the very end, the verdict.The Whole Truth follows Kathryn Peale (Joely Richardson), the Deputy Bureau Chief in the New York State District Attorney‘s office. Breaking up the day of Emmy buzz, ABC has announced its fall 2010 premiere dates, all beginning the week of September 20.Of note among the scheduled openers for the alphabet network‘s upcoming season:New series Better Together is now Better With You. If there‘s a pattern so far this week in the ratings, it‘s that CBS is still the top dog. On Wednesday night the network had the highest-rated shows in all three hours of prime time and The Defenders became the season‘s third highest-rated new show of the season (behind Hawaii Five-0 and Mike and Molly, both also on CBS).  Read more »
The surprisingly successful fall season continued yesterday with ABC picking up two of its new shows for full seasons while extending its order for a third one.
