The Return of Jezebel James is about Sarah Thomkins, a bright, optimistic determined career woman who is successful in her job as a children's book editor. The only thing missing in her life is someone to really share everything with. Sarah decides to have a baby, but finds out that she can't, so she turns to Coco, her younger sister whom she hasn't seen in years, and proposes that Coco carries her baby. Unwilling at first, Coco considers the offer after her sister turns her imaginary childhood friend Jezebel James into a children's book.
