The Practice chronicles the lives and careers of members of the law firm, Donnell and Associates, later on becoming Donnell, Young, Dole and Frutt, before eventually ending up as Young, Frutt and Berluti. The series focuses on high profile civil and criminal cases handled by the firm, at the same time offering glimpses of the personal struggles, conflicts and relationships of the partners, staff and associates.
