A few weeks ago, I asked you if you wanted to work at Dunder-Mifflin. Some of you answered no, some of you sounded like you wanted to sign up for the job, any job, right away.
Well, now you can determine if you can make it as an underling of Michael Scott without actually signin onto Dunder-Mifflin's limited healthcare plan. How? By winning The Office DVD Board Game, of course!

Bad timing for Craig Robinson. The actor, best known for his role on The Office as Daryl, should have been enjoying the success of Pineapple Express, in which Robinson had his biggest film role to date. Instead, he was dealing with the fallout from his recent June 29 arrest, in which he was pulled over by Los Angeles cops at a traffic stop. The police found drugs, including ecstasy, inside the actor's car. Things could have been worse. Robinson will avoid jail time after he plead guilty to drug possession. If Robinson stays clean for 18 months and completes required therapy sessions, all charges will be dropped. Felony possession charges and misdemeanor under the influence charges were also dropped as part of the settlement.

My name is Gina Scarpa and I'm a couch potato. I'm not lazy, overweight, or sloppy. I'm always busy, I like to be social, and I have lots of friends. Despite those things, there's always one place I want to be: on my couch, in front of my tv, with a snack in one hand, and my laptop in the other. I don't even know what to do with myself during the summer, without my favorite scripted television shows to keep up with. Don't even get me started on Lost not returning until 2009. I almost needed to join a support group. Things are looking up, though. It's August and in just a few short weeks, my shows come back on, life gets back to normal, and I can finally figure out what happened after Jim couldn't propose to Pam on The Office. Bring on the fall shows!

Taking a vacation from the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, The Office main man Steve Carell shares some funny anecdotes while filming the spy-themed comedy Get Smart, with Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, and Alan Arkin. I n the film, he plays the top analyst of the top secret intelligence agency.
Despite being new to the genre with Get Smart as his first action film, the star of The Office said he'll give “action guy” Johnson (The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King) “a run for his money.”

What would it be like to see one of the guys from the Sterling Cooper ad agency walk into the Dunder Mifflin paper company? Viewers will soon get to find out, as Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello recently announced that one of the actors from AMC's Mad Men will be doing a guest stint on The Office. Rich Sommer, who plays ad exec Harry Crane on the Emmy nominated drama, will show up in the September 25 season premiere of the NBC comedy. Everyone involved with the series is being extremely secretive about his role, but one insider told Ausiello that the character "ties in with a surprise twist." Let the theories begin.

The Office webisodes have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The first two webisodes were promising, funny, but the conclusion leaves a lot to be desired. I suppose this was inevitable, given that the total webisode series adds up to a mere nine minutes of actual content – it's not like that's enough time to tell any sort of satisfying story. However, if you're going to do something, you might as well make a go of it. The lack of ambition for these webisodes, then, is where my major complaint arises. There's some funny stuff, but it's really an incomplete thought. If "Kevin's Loan" had, say, double the screen time, it could have been pretty cool. As it is now, I'm not sure how satisfying it will be for fans of The Office. You can all judge for yourselves. Below you will find the final two episodes in their entirety.

As an Office fan and a writer, today's Comic-Con panel featuring the writers of The Office, moderated by Rainn Wilson was a dream come true. Anyone looking for juicy plot tidbits were out of luck. It was mostly a playful discussion of how The Office is written. It's nice to see some of the face to put to the names. This was writer/creator Greg Daniels first time at Comic-Con, and he was loving it. Rainn Wilson did a great job moderating, and kept things moving along, injecting some jokes where needed, and all in all presenting a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
