When Hugh Hefner ended his relationship with longtime girlfriend Holly Madison, there was immediate speculation over the reason for the breakup. The Girls Next Door star recently told OK! Magazine that ending things was her idea, after she realized that he was never going to budge on the issue of marriage, and especially on children. "I wanted to have kids,” she said. “When that wasn't possible, I realized that I had to be honest with Hef and break it off.” Hef admitted to being “down in the dumps” about losing Holly, telling The Associated Press, "If Holly says it's over, I guess it's over.” Rumors spread that Holly was cozying up to magician Criss Angel and this weekend, they went public with their romance.

For a minute there, it seemed all was well at the Playboy mansion after Hugh Hefner ended his relationships with both Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson. The two went in attendance at the annual Halloween party last week and it seemed everyone was on good terms. All the breakups caused fans to wonder if Hef was keeping the last member of The Girls Next Door, Bridget Marquardt, as an official girlfriend. Yesterday, at the Playboy fragrance launch party in New York City, Bridget spoke out about the status of their relationship and it looks like the mansion will never be the same again.

There’s been some major shakeups at the Playboy Mansion this year. Hugh Hefner ended relationships with not one, but two of The Girls Next Door. Fans were so worked up over the breakup of Holly Madison and Hef that they almost didn’t notice that Kendra had also moved on. Hef has brought 19-year-old twins, Kristina and Karissa Shannon, on as official girlfriends and the pair have moved into the mansion. Madison recently told US Weekly magazine that the girls "definitely like to have a good time” and that Hef is "having lots of fun with them - and a lot of other people." This begs the question: who else is dating Hef and is Bridget still an official girlfriend?

It seems that there could be big changes in store for The Girls Next Door and life at the Playboy mansion. Holly Madison’s breakup with Hugh Hefner put so much attention on them that the drama between Kendra and Hef was virtually overlooked. Reports first came that Holly was spending time with Criss Angel and then, that Kendra was spending time with Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett. While Perez Hilton only suggested the two were dating, some gossip blogs took it a step further, claiming that Kendra and Hank were engaged! In a recent interview, though, Holly claimed that both she and Kendra could return for the 6th season of The Girls Next Door. This month, the news broke that The Girls Next Door stars Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner ended their longtime relationship. Since the very beginning of the show, Holly has been under the false assumption that she could tame Hef, get him to settle down, get married, and give her the child she’s always wanted. It's no secret that Hugh Hefner is now one girlfriend down. The Playboy founder and his number one girlfriend Holly Madison, who also stars on the reality series The Girls Next Door, have parted ways after Madison let it slip that she is no longer with Hefner, putting an end to weeks of speculations about the real score of their downhill relationship.
While talking with a videographer about the annual Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion, which is usually featured on The Girls Next Door, Madison said that she was dressing up as Elvis and the camera man started hinting that he'd like an invite to the party. However, Madison couldn't accommodate him, reasoning that she couldn't change the guest list because she's not with Hefner anymore.
"I have no pull anymore. Hef and I aren't together, I can't invite people," Madison said.
