As previously reported on our Young and the Restless page, Eileen Davidson is back in Genoa City for a limited, three-episode story arc, reprising the role of Ashley Abbott, which she originated on The Young and the Restless back in 1982. Now essaying the same role on The Bold and the Beautiful, Davidson and her Ashley Abbott persona have returned to their roots starting with the episode last December 28 and carrying on today till tomorrow.
Davidson spoke about her character's visit to her old stomping grounds, before Ashley Abbott made her way to the glitzy and glamorous Los Angeles fashion world in The Young and the Restless spin-off, The Bold and the Beautiful.

Losing a gig may be a fear among many film and television actors, but it's not for up-and-coming daytime drama star, Mykel Shannon Jenkins. The 38-year-old actor, who won the first season of SOAPnet's I Wanna Be A Soap Star and is now appearing on CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful, remained optimistic when his character on General Hospital was killed off, as he is not one who “believes in scarcity."
“When I was leaving [General Hospital] everybody was feeling bad, but I was excited, because I was excited about tomorrow, about the next story that I was actually going to be able to tell,” Jenkins said.

It's been 15 years since Todd McKee last took a turn on The Bold and the Beautiful. Last month, the actor rejoined the CBS drama, fascinated with the new faces that have since become part of the show, as well as the changes that have occurred since he was last on it.
McKee, who has reprised his role as Jake MacClaine, spoke to Soap Opera Weekly about his return to The Bold and the Beautiful.

To celebrate The Bold and the Beautiful's 20th anniversary, the show has released a hardcover book entitled The Bold and the Beautiful In Celebration of Twenty Years of Television. The book, which can now be purchased via the show's official website, features year-by-year summaries, interviews, behind-the-scenes stories and numerous photos.
The book was penned by Eva Demirjian, the Director of Communications & Talent Relations for The Bold and The Beautiful. According to Demirjian, creating the book was no walk in the park, as she had to some extensive research in order to ensure the finished product would be of excellent quality.

It has been 10 months since the passing of one of The Bold and the Beautiful's most colorful regulars, Darlene Conley, who played the feisty Sally Spectra. In celebration of her remarkable life, the soap is staging a fashion event, in collaboration with Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.
Darlene Conley had essayed the role of Sally Spectra, proverbial thorn on the butts of the Forresters on The Bold and the Beautiful for nearly two decades, until she finally succumbed to stomach cancer on January 14 of this year. Two days shy of her first death anniversary, her friends and co-stars from The Bold and the Beautiful will lead a fashion extravaganza in memory of her.

Mykel Shannon Jenkins, the first winner of SoapNet's reality competition, I Wanna Be a Soap Star, has joined the cast of CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful. According to executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell, Jenkins will appear on the daytime drama as Charlie Baker.
Jenkins' Charlie is the son of Lt. Baker (Dan Martin) and has recently been promoted to the rank of detective in the police department. Charlie enters the series as Eric Forrester (John McCook) regains control of Forrester Creations, and is an essential part of The Bold and the Beautiful's “hottest and most suspenseful story-arc of the year.”
